Rhinefield House Hotel is set in the heart of the New Forest on the stunning Sequoia lined Rhinefield Ornamental Drive between Lyndhurst and Brokenhurst. It is also where Rebecca and Pete chose for their very Christmas themed winter wedding on the 28th December.
This grand venue was built in 1887, an engagement present from the Walker family to their only daughter who married Lieutenant Munro RN. Hence the name of the two grand suites in the old house; Walker and Munro. In these photos you will see Rebecca's dress in the Walker suite.
Waking up on the day of the wedding I noticed a heavy frost so I drove to this New Forest wedding venue a lot earlier to capture this magical winters day. I hadn't seen the whole pond frozen solid before. It was one of those gorgeous sunny days with deep blue skies. Quite unexpected for late December and of course very welcomed by all.
Rebecca prepared for her big day with mum and bridesmaids in a very scenic suite at the far end of the hotel's modern accommodation; scenic in that its many floor to ceiling windows faced out on to nothing but views of the winter colours of the New Forest. The wedding ceremony was held with just over 60 guests in the main hall with Rebecca and Pete married beneath a huge decorated Christmas Tree at the top of the aisle. A drinks reception followed in the Kings Room with Rebecca and Pete able to catch some fresh air and the last of the winter sun with a walk around the grounds. The wedding breakfast was back in the main hall with speeches from the top table beneath the Christmas tree. And finally the first dance was in the Kings room where a dance floor was set for the party. We took advantage of the moonlit skies for a closing scene of Rebecca and Pete's spectacular winter wedding at the entrance to Rhinefield House Hotel.
Congratulations Rebecca and Pete and thank you so much for your kind words...
"When I first saw Adam's beautiful photo album's they moved me to tears (in a good way!). That for me sealed the deal- I knew I had to have Adam there on our wedding day to capture all those moments that as bride and groom, you inevitably miss or do not take in.
Adam has been such a great person to deal with, his friendly approach and reassuring ways just kept me at ease (I forgot he was there at times, he was so unobtrusive).
Adam you were perfect all day, we couldn't have wished for more! Just seeing the few sneak peeks of our wedding photo's moved me (Rebecca) to tears- the photo's are just stunning, you really do have a super talent at capturing perfect snapshots in time!
I am so thankful that we will have these moments, which you captured to look back on with pride and we will look forward to sharing and re-living them with our nearest and dearest!
I would recommend everyone to book Adam to capture all those wonderful moments on your wedding day!"
