We just got another Front Page with Purpleport and so awarded the famous purple rosette! (FPI: Front Page Image) Sainte Croix themed portraiture receives recognition again!
Katie in Paris in the Springtime (1940) It feels great to achieve this because Katie is such a brilliant, kind and fun person. Of course she looks amazing too and it is for all of these reasons deserves to be on the front page. I'm going to prepare a gallery of the themed portraiture we created as there were so many great ones with Katie so elegant and gentle yet strong and her true self too.
The photography was not really taken in Paris and it was not 1940 either! But With Katie's amazing style I had this idea and so we set about to create the scene, but with a challenge; it was in 2015 and we were in Portsmouth!
So I had put in loads of work for this; I created mood boards to guide us towards styles of the era and scouted possible locations. I then organised a creative team, even getting Café Rouge on board for the scene (thanks amazing team!).
I am really happy with the recognition for this because the whole team enjoyed the experience and I really absolutely love creating themed portraiture images like this. I pour my heart into this work and like all my portraiture, be it families, couples, weddings or these themed shoots for individuals, I make sure it is a great fun experience for everyone and people get to leave with some amazing images of their inspirations and dreams.
Just to explain what the Front Page Image bit is about (FPI): Purpleport is a website for models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists, designers, artists, the fashion industry etc, basically creatives from all walks of life. Thousands of images get uploaded every day. They pick just a small number per day to feature on their front page and the photo I created (with the team!) has been chosen and is on the front page today, the 3rd of April (Good Friday!).
So thank you team. It is now time for a celebratory cuppa and cake, of course :)
To finish; some rare behind the scenes photos! Thank you to Bette for these.
