A 100th Birthday celebration for Brenda Vickery at Portchester House - quick sneak peak

An amazing thing happened to Brenda Vickery yesterday and in her own words "I woke up today and thought; I can't believe it, I am 100! That's rather old isn't it!"

Brenda has so much energy! A very young 100: She chatted, laughed, danced, had a sing-song, some bubbly, a gin!, lots of lovely food and shard an amazing 100th birthday celebration with lots of friends and family.

Here is just a very quick sneak peak at some of the photos of Brenda enjoying her very special day hosted by her daughter Sue Lucas in their home, the beautiful Portchester house. A few photos of the children too! (More will follow in a subsequent article, just wanted to get a few out quick!)

and that last photo shows Brenda (right), 100, sharing messages in Birthday and Christmas cards with her childhood friend (left), who is just 6 months younger than her at 99!
